Robin Williams once said, “The Lord has a sense of humor. Look around you!”
What you see when you look around yourself can include, your house, your children, your pets, your friends, where you work and the people there, where you shop, etc. etc. Wow! Where shall we focus?
Let’s start with the house today.
Is it messy? Do you need some ideas on how to organize things? What else do we have in the house?
As a design professional, I see everything when I walk into a place. The walls, ceiling, floors, doors, moldings, colors, textures, materials, finishes, and furniture. Naturally, if it’s a kitchen or a bathroom, I see all that other stuff. What can we do to make it all more pleasant or more fun?
The cheapest, easiest and fastest way to improve a space, is to bring some life into it in the form of plants. Plants breathe. Plants can round out a space and feed your feng shui cravings. They add color, even if it is only green, it still makes an instant difference. Some plants can be started from a clipping, some from seeds, and others, you just buy because it’s easier.
Keep ‘em alive! You gotta know a little about keeping plants happy and healthy, so that your synergism of life goes on.
